How the Downloader Handles Instagram Content

DownIGVideo only works with content that Instagram makes publicly available. When you submit a link, our server network and a third-party data provider read the public information for that post so we can show you the available files.

• Videos, photos and covers are delivered from Instagram’s own media servers. We do not store copies of them on our servers.
• Download links are temporary and stop working within about one hour.
• Audio to MP3 conversion runs inside your own browser, so the converted file is created on your device.
• Private accounts, private posts and Stories that require a login are not accessed.

Log Files

DownIGVideo follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages and possibly the number of clicks.
